Newbee Needing Purchase Advice

I found a 1994 E320 with 103,000 miles one owner with all maintenance records. The car has been serviced on schedule and is in immaculant condition inside and out. All fluid changes have been with synthetic lubricants.

I took the car for my first ever Benz test drive and "needless to say was really impressed with it's smooth ride and power".

Thanks to the members on this board, I have been able to research and learn many of the pros and cons of owning and maintaining this vehicle.

The owners records show the following repairs,engine wiring harness, head gasket, air conditioner evaporator, brakes and rotors, oil sending unit, ambient temperature control and power steering pump gasket replacement.

The owner is asking 11,500. This sounds a little high for car with this mileage. My questions to board members are the following.

1. What other major repair problems are associated with this this year and class of car.

2. What is a fair price for this car considering its condition and repair record.

Looks like most of the expensive stuff has been replaced already.

The price is dependent on location and condition.
