1992 190E 2.6 bump

Whe accelerating I hear a bump type noise from the rear.

Also when it goes in gear I can hear it.

The tranny pulls fine, and has no problems going into gear.

I put the car in reverse and or drive and goes clunk!!

Help.

Number one suspect is the front flex disk. They typically are cracked and sloppy at 60K miles orfservice - pretty much a 60K mile service item.

A visual inspection will usually confirm their condition and serviceability.

My response to your e-mail got kicked back twice as undeliverable.
