1999 or 2001 4matic wagon?

As the pleased owner of a 1992 300TE 4matic wagon, I am looking for everyone's advice on the purchase of an additional MB wagon. Right now I have two possibilities: one is a 1999 4matic MB wagon with 47,000 miles that a Volvo dealer is selling with a limited one year warranty for $24,000; and the other is a Starmark 2001 4matic MB wagon with 60,000 miles that a MB dealer is selling for $25,500. Both are fine looking cosmetically, but I was wondering if there are any known issues with either year car, if one year is better than the other, or if there is a particluar year that was the best? I don't have to have either a '99 or '01, I just want the best year car. The repair history of both cars is unknown, but I would be the third owner of the 1999 wagon, (red flag?), as opposed to the second owner of the 2001. Also, do these prices sound about right? Thanks in advance for your help.
