m-103 valve adjustment

this is probably a dumb question...

i have noticed on start up a little bit of ticking.

it goes away in a few seconds and it has adequate amount of oil, 172k.

can the valves be adjusted?

If you are not running synthetic oil, you might want to check ALL the postings on the topic and then see if its advanced properties might help clean the lifters.

Others also say the Marvel Mystery Oil does work, others not.

If it were my car and everything else is working great, I would forget it until some other problem emerged.

What brand and weight of oil are you using?

PS- use the site's search engine if you want to hear what the members feel about oil. It is by far the most talked about topic on this site.
