M104 chain tensioner remove and install

Hi,
can anyone give me quick bullet-point installation directions for the TC tensioner?
I'm a fairly competent DIYer, but from reading the archives, I haven't been able to glean the exact procedure to remove and carefully reinstall this small device in the 104 engine, but I can see that the install requires a bit more than just threading it back into the head.
Thanks!

You really need a diagram to visualize what needs to be done. Remove the entire tensioner assembly. Push the plunger all the way through, then feed it in again, but just far enough to get it back together. Once oil pressure is applied it will ratchet into place.

If you try to put the tensioner back in without pushing the plunger out and restarting it, you can easily break something. I strongly recommend getting a manual.

Good luck,
