My 450SEC won't start

I have recently purchased a 1979 M-B 450SEC.

It won't start and appears that it is not getting any fuel. The previous owner was the original owner and never drove the car very much. The car only has 85,000 mi and the previous owner said that it hasn't been driven on the street in over 3 years. He would periodically start it to keep the battery charged.

The lack of driving was probably the worst thing that could be done. I want to check the fuel pump but figure that I should start with the simple stuff first.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started. If I tow it to a M-B dealership it will cost a fortune to service.
