Should be fairly easy to put a hidden interupter switch in the hot line for the keyswitch, but you aren't going to be able to move the ignition lock without MAJOR (read value destroying) rework, the steering lock cannot be relocated, and the ignition switch is on the back.
Why in the world would you want to move the ignition switch? It takes more than half an hour to get to now, with complete removal of the lower dash panel and protective strap to get to it where it is! I believe that messing around with a SmartKey ignition is very likely to disable the engine computer, requiring at the very least a visit (with car towed in) to the dealer to re-program. Messing with the wiring is likely to do the same, possibly repeatedly. This is one reason Benzes are never on the "most stolen car" list -- the only reasonable way to steal on is a flatbed, they are VERY hard to steal otherwise without doing obvious damage (like smashing windows).
