Heck - I wish I could get $300 for an installed set of tie rods - wowzer.

I think you got ripped. My suggestion is to find a good alignment shop that knows these cars and have them try it or tell you why they can't.

I agree. I tried to argue. They say it is my fault that they could not do the alignment properly because I refused to have the control arms replaced.

Good advice. Does anyone know such a shop around Boston, MA? I went to the dealership because I read here they are probably the only ones that use a spreader bar for the front end.

Other have said that Hatch and Sons in Wayland is a great shop.

I'm sure he does... give him a call 617 262-5525. He'll be the nicest person you talk to all day. He's in the building that the Beer Works is in. Enter the lot next to the Beer Works and loop down around to the right. His lot looks over the mass pike.
