M119 Oil tube
Does anyone know what the torque for the cam bolts are and the part # for the crush washers for the bolts? I think that I am going to have to change out a oil tube. I read JimF's thread, but he does not have the torque listed.
Also, what is the torque for the valve cover? Cheers, Steve Urban

Thanks for the info. I would like to have the exact torque for the cam braces.
Cheers, Steve

I just did this job on my 97 S420 last week...
According to Alldata the torque for the cam braces is 10 Nm and the torque for the valve cover bolts is 9 Nm. Those are the numbers I used and all seems well, no leaks, no nothing... Part number for the valve cover bolt washers is 007603-006106. You'll need 18 and they're $0.44 ea. |

I found the data on the Mitchell manual. I used 10nm (89ip) for the caps.
Cheers, Steve
