[BRAKE PADS] how many sensor wires for Mintex pads
Hi,
I am getting ready to replace the FRONT pads on a 1999 ML 320 for the first time (as a DIY job), and I have read the existing posts on this subject, but don't think I have found my particular question answered. Nonetheless, if I overlooked something, feel free to redirect me. I ordered the MINTEX front pads, and when they can into the local parts store, I didn't take them home with me, because only 1 pad had a sensor wire attached. Shouldn't 2 pads (1 left, 1 right) have a sensor wire attached? I see that one other pad has a small hole where the sensor assembly would fit by said assembly isn't mounted or included. FWIW, the BENDIX pads they had in stock for the same car did not have a sensor wire attached on EITHER pad. The guy at the parts store said he would call his supplier to ask whether they had shipped a defective pair or not, but I was hoping someone on this forum could provide an authoritative answer. Many thanks /alex

I put Mintex on mine (99 ML320) last summer...I had sensor wires on BOTH sides of the front pads. I don't recall, but when I ordered them thru FastLane, I may have had to order the sensor wires seperately....
