Need some help finding the right plugs and wire set for a 1970 280SE.I was told the oe was Beru.
Looking at the beru ulta x copper plug, not sure about the wires?
Does anyone know where you can buy these.
Thanks

Ron at German Star (www.germanstar.net) told me that Beru was OEM.

Yes Breu was the OEM for my car 560SL. But when I bought the wires I had to replace the resistor shells on cylinders 3 and 4 because mine were angled. Also the wires did not come with the wire number markers or rubber sheathes that the wires pass through. In taking the wires appart I was un able to do it without twisting the wire right out of the theaded terminal connector so I had to purchase 2 terminal connectors so I could cut the wire and replace the two threaded connectors to screw on the resistors. After that I said the hell with installing the wire markers of rubber sheaths. If I had to do it again I would try the Bosch or see how the wires are delivered from the dealer. All told my wire set with two new angled resitors cost over $200.00

Moral

Just because you find the OEM manufacturer does not mean you get the same thing your car was delivered with.
