1971 220

Found a 1971 220 in a barn, abandoned. Last started 4-5 years ago but was driven into the barn. The owner said I could have it. Is this a car an average DIYer can piddle with. Has a 4 cylider, automatic, free of rust but some collision damage to the door. Frame is OK.
What about parts availability?
Any and all thoughts welcome.
I just hate to see the car rot away (I may be too late)

Wink

You will want to see if the engine is locked-up OR if it will turn freely.

Of course the fuel tank & carb will need work before anything else.

Most all parts are still avail from many sources. USED body parts are the ONLY way to go for the dents!
