With the transmission removed, grab the toque converter and pull, it should pop right out; if it does not then the pump gears, bushing, or bearing is stuck to the torque converter hub. It needs persuasion.

Then, the question should have been I am removing the transmission from the CAR, how do I remove the torque converter BOLTS.

On the front of the transmission by the engine oil pan there should be a plate take it off then you will have access too the six converter bolts on the drive plate. YEAR and model of the car
