how do you get the torque converter off?

does any body know?

With the transmission removed, grab the toque converter and pull, it should pop right out; if it does not then the pump gears, bushing, or bearing is stuck to the torque converter hub. It needs persuasion.

really?

dont mean to doubt you, but it looks like it bolts on to the fly wheel and the acsess through the starteer hole is not enogh. Ive spent about an hour doing the persausion thing. and still no luck.

Then, the question should have been I am removing the transmission from the CAR, how do I remove the torque converter BOLTS.

On the front of the transmission by the engine oil pan there should be a plate take it off then you will have access too the six converter bolts on the drive plate. YEAR and model of the car
