Power Steering pulley removal
Hi,
Need some help regarding the above, I have just purchased a set of underdrive pullies from Evosport for my CLK 240 which has, I believe, the same engine as the C240 in the US with a 2.6l V6. My mechanic says he can't change the power steering pulley becuase he doesn't have the pulley puller that's required to change this pulley. I guess I'm seeking a 2nd opinion as to whether a pulley puller is needed and where I could find one incase it was relatively inexpensive. I am from Singapore and Merc mechanics are a bit hard to find and the dealer here will not install any aftermarket parts. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
