Just a quick question...

Does the warning module monitor the back doors when they are opened? For example: The driver door is opened, courtesy lights turn on, buzzer goes off if key is left in the ignition, seat belt reminder light blinks on the overhead console...etc. Currently the driver door doesn't activate anything. Opening the front passenger door activates the buzzer...etc. The back doors do not activate the seat belt reminder, but the rear courtesy lights turn on.

I've searched the Archives regarding the warning module and found that a diode inside of it burns out and causes problems like this. I just want to verify that the module also monitors the rear doors.

The car in question is a 1991 420sel. Any responses would be appreciated.

I don't remember it checking the rear. I think it is set up for the front only.

I don't have my books here, so I really don't know.
