I have an 85 380SE with 95K. Car runs great but the steering is sloppy, lots of play in it. The front suspension is almost new from the previous owner and so are the tires. What should I have my tech check? With this mileage, should it just need an adjustment or would the box be shot?

Thanks in advance.

There is a adjustment you can do (steering gear box) for steering play.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the adjustment only involves one screw. Is that correct? How difficult is it to do and what would it cost if my tech does it?
