cooling system refill
I want to replace the coolant in my 1995 E320 (W124) Last time I did this job only about 7 litres drained out when there's supposed to be 9. I had the block drain open and the radiator drained out. Any ideas, maybe there is some coolant left in the heater matrix? If so, how to drain it?
Another little problem is that the parking light feature does not work, either left or right. I tried another light switch without success. Someone suggested a faulty lighting control module/relay but as these are v. expensive I hesitate to replace merely on spec. Any further ideas please? |

You will not be able to drain all the coolant out. Some coolant will be left in the heater circuit. I don't think its that big of a deal.
