Brake Bleeding .. 97 C230 K

Hi Guys

I need to flush out the old brake fluid on my pride and joy and would hate to "break" something in the process. I have been through the threads discussing this and am well aware of the two sections in the reservoir and that the brake pedal should not be depressed fully when using the 2-man method. I donot have a bleeder so that is out of the question.

I have read on a few threads on this forum about using gravity feed to bleed/flush the system. Is this method safe and will it work on the 97 C230 K which has got anti-lock braking but no tractions control stuff .. I'd rather go for a time consuming method of doing this as long as I know that I wont damage anything in the process !!
