I have an 87 300e and every time I let off the throttle I feel and hear metal to metal clanking sound in the transmission. Other times I hear this promblem is when I come to a stop and I would let off the throttle and engage to my brakes but when I do I feel a little jerk underneath the car. I don't know much about transmissions but some how I think that it is that. My car has 88,000 miles. I think the cause of this is that I sometimes floor my car to much to gain speeds going on the on ramps plus I like how the torque feels. Maybe this might be the cause. I also know that the transmission fluid is fine I replaced it about 8 months ago. Whats wrong. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES.
