Hello again, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on removing the front door panels on my '87 560SEL. I have removed the rears, so I get the basics, however the motorized seat controls have me stuck. It seems that the little plastic seat pieces need to come off first, but they don't want to. Also, although I haven't got there yet, the trim piece that goes from the top of the trim (next to the lock/unlock pin) to the top of the door looks like it needs to come off as well. I don't see any screws... Thanks for all advice.

Door panel R&R
remove screws from armrest. Pry out plastic cup behind inside release handle. remove that screw. Remove screws from chrome U at latch. remove screw from rear upper trim at glass. The seat switch buttons pull straight off. Then a plastic c clip on the post. The switch plate tilts out.
Then lift the panel straight up, of the clips. DO NOT PRY. Reassmbly is the reverse of removal.
