stainless aftermarket cat 300e - louder?
Hi eveybody
I installed an aftermarket cat from germanstar on my 1992 300TE. Everthing worked fine and it fits well. However it the cars seems louder than before, especially under load from 2500-400RPM's. I quickly checked for leaks and could not find any (exhaust manifold-downpipe; cat-center muffler). Could anyone of you who has a similar cat installed comment about his experience? Do I just have to accept the noise? Or may I miss some leaks? Help and comments are welcome! Regards, Bruno |
