A friend has a problem with his SL’s A/C.

I need to know if anyone has had to replace their A/C compressor on a W107 Euro greymarket model? If so, what compressor did you use. This thing appears to be modified as if it were an add-on. The local Mercedes dealer won't acknowledge that the car exists for some reason….
