StarTech registration
No technical help needed, but there will be a lot of technical help available at StarTech.
Just a reminder that the discounted StarTech registration goes through March 20. After that it goes up by $30. See all about StarTech at http://www.mbca.org/startech/. Speaker profiles are now listed on the webpage. MB Classic Center is sending about five speakers too. Many of the speakers are guys who we have talked about here. Len |

What do you get for the standard registration fee 95 dollars vs the social registration fee 30 dollars?

$95 gets you all the seminars for the weekend plus the banquet Saturday night, Friday night reception/dinner, Saturday lunch and if you stay at the hotel, breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Social registration does not get the banquet but can purchase it separately for $40. Social registration also does not get the seminars, but they do get the rest of the meals.

My dilemma is, I live in Raleigh an have no need for the hotel, therefore I don't need the meals. I also don't want to come to ALL of the tech seminars, just a couple, and maybe the concours. I also don't want to come alone, so I am faced with paying $190 if I even want to get in. Is there no way around this?

Go here http://www.mbca.org/startech/index.html. At the bottom of the page is the chair of the committee. Contact her and ask.
