Sorry,
never seen or heard mention of a repair kit. Some are adjustable-- but it takes an experienced, skilled hand. And a fuel pressure guage. Properly applied. Perhaps Stevebfl can pipe in here-- I'm just a parts flunky. But NOT a DIY project, IIRC. Otherwise, hold onto your wallet.

I found a Python (rebuilt) for a $148.00.
![]() Not certain yet why I should replace it. Just blocking off the vacuum has made this thing run better than I think it has in years! Ha! Ha! ![]() But oh well, the wife will complain about every tick tock if I don't put a new part in it. I would pay the price somehow, sometime if I didn't! ![]() |

Scott,
I tore into a few of my shelf enrichment compensators recently to kludge-together a replacement for one of my SLC’s. Their whole point is to alter control P for warm up, and under load, and that’s all. If your car is working great without the vacuum feature, just go with that because there is a whole potential problem in adjusting the thing to properly control the control P that, if you are otherwise doing great right now, its just not worth messing with. Best, Mark |
