My drivers side windows will not roll up all the way. It gives out a "clunk..clunk...clunk" when almost at the top.
I assume some of the teeth are broken off the mechanism. The parts book shows that I probably need the entire scissor assembly (I don't know the exact name). Any idea if I can replace only the broken part? And how do I get the door panel off? Thanks Jason '87 300D Turbo |

You are probably missing some teeth (not you, your car):^) on the window regulator. Do a search on the subject. PartsShop should have it.

Yes, you are right about the missing teeth (the car, not me).
"Regulator"...that was the word I needed to do my search. Found everything I needed. Thanks |
