Bought a new cluster off Ebay last week for my S-class with a completely dead cluster. Took it to the dealer where they download the data from the old cluster and input it into the new one after installation. Paid $220 for 2 hr. labor. BTW, the MB parts department said the clusters for my car were backordered from Germany for at least 2 weeks.
