c220 Air Mass Meter, need Help
Hey guys, my car's AIR MASS METER is now dead. Car's running bad, horrible idle, even shuts off sometimes at intersections. I'm getting about 350 kms to a tank of decent highway driving at 80km/h. I was wondering if anyone has any creative idea's to make a last ditch effort to see if I can save my air mass meter from replacement, perhaps a quick fix, or a temp. one. Please let me know.
Secondly, incase i do have to change it ASAP, since it is an expensive part; does anyone know any place i can get the best bang for the buck on one? I don't know if getting a used ones even an idea to ever consider, since this is a known problem with many c-class mercedes. So if you guys can let me know about a great deal anywhere, or after market solutions, that be helpful. thanks. |
