Please help
OK I went to change my spark plugs today and whoever last worked on this thing stripped the set screw for the coil on cylinder #6. I have no clue how to get this out of there know. my only guess is to drill it out with a tap or something but of course I have never done that before so I have really no clue how I'm going to get this thing out of there, those tiny little set screws have to be the worst idea Please help

set screw problem
Nick:
I'am just going thru the same problem on my S-320 6. One of the coils are breaking down. It has three coils, one for each 2 cylinders. If this is your layout, and you are trying to pull the coil off the plug, you don't have to remove the screw, just yank the uint straight "UP" and it will come off the screw. Hope this helps, Ron |
