Question Installing new windshield washer nozzle - PICS

Hey guys,

Looking for hopefully an easy answer here...

I'm installing a new windshield washer nozzle (passenger side) on the hood of my 1989 300E. The old one had burnt or short-circuited out. I had no idea these were heated. Cool.

Anyway, I bought the new part, which looks like this -

Simple enough. As you can see, it has two wires that need to be connected. One end connector is bare and the other end is encased in a plastic shield. Both are male type connectors and are indentical, other than the plastic shield.

The old washer nozzle had a wire coming into it and TWO wires coming out. Here is a pic of the old, burnt nozzle. As you can see, there is a brown wire going in and a brown and black wire exiting.

and here is the driver's side (functioning) nozzle for reference as well.

So the question is, which wires go where? Tried my CD manuals but no info there. I'm assuming I'll have to solder these? Any help, much appreciated - thanks!

C.

You have the wrong replacement nozzles. Your car has the heated washer bottle, and you must buy the nozzles for a car equipped with such.
