[COLOR=DarkOrange]Sheer desperation , I have a 51 plate ML270CDI Mercedes 72k ,mls F.M.B.S.H. In a nutshell the vehicle hydrauliced itself, the con rods bent, ring gear smashed , sump had water in it etc. The car is currently in a Mercedes dealership whereby they have taken the adament stance the vehicle had been submerged in water ! causing the water to get into the engine and now want £7900.00 plus vat for an engine. Absolute definate 100% NOT , the vehicle has NEVER been submerged its just ridiculous and Mercedes will not accept any other solution or reason for the water ingress. I have for the last year or so constantly had to top it up with water and as recently as 24th Dec 2004 had inspections as the coolant light used to come on . Mercedes could not find a fault its a complete mystery but someone must know how this could have happened. I have not had a car now for four months , Mercedes just will not listen to reason and I have potentially a massive bill . Please any help would be appreciated . Thanks [email]mark@senseware.co.uk
