Hi all,

I own a 1995 w202. I have recently replaced my ECU a month ago. Everything is fine but sometimes i could not start my car at all.

When i am about to start the engine, only the sound of the engine's cranking could be heard and both the infrared sensors (the green & red lights) below the rear mirror starts blinking together. I will have to keep trying and after about letting it rest for 2 mins, i am able to start it again. This problem does not occur all the time but unexpectedly; say out of the 50 times i start my car, the problem occurs 5 times out of it but not consistent!

I have brought the car to the dealer/worshop and have the ECU reset 2 times, re-check all wirings and inspect other electrical mechanisms there were no problems or faults identified.

Unfortunately, it still occurs (unexpectedly).
Anyone who faced this problem before? Any advice or tips is highly appreciated!!
