Is $120 to replace rear window regulator in 1996 S320
a fair price or should I do it myself?

For this part of the country CT USA. That is about 1 hour work. It sound very fair.

Fastlane lists the regulator for the rear door on a lwb W140 for $125. I would say $160 is a very good price.
