When I lift the trunk lid I get a shower - I don't see how the water is getting in the rim of the lid except through the lock! Is this possible or is there something else?

I would also like to know if I can tune this rig to use regular instead of high test.

I doubt that its getting through the trunk lock. You probably need new trunk seals.

I had the same problem..... Trunk lock seal replaced!!! Still the same...

This early morning, saw a rubber cap on the left side trunk lip..... Took it out and the water drill out through the hole. hehe
