1989 300TE Starting problem when warm/hot

I had driven my car about 25 miles and pulled into a gas station to fill up. when i tried to start car to leave it took me 3 times to start the car. This is the first time this has happened. i then drove another 10 miles or so to my destination. after turning the car off, i tried to re-start it again and it did the same thing. on both occasions i was able to start the car by giving it a little gas when turning the key. any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same issue..started w/ injectors as when I gave it some 'gas' which is really air it would start.. That helped but what Really did it was the fuel pressure accumulator. They're fairly cheap and easy to install. I would change the fuel filter while you're back there as well..

Be curious to hear what happens.

Back passenger side, in front of the rear wheel. Remove the panel, can't miss it. 30-45 minute job TOPS.
