Need Sunroof Motor Gear!!
Disassembled the sunroof motor on my '84 300 Turbo Diesel and discovered worn teeth on the fiber gear.
I have found replacements online available for about $80.00 but I consider that outrageous just for the gear. Does anyone know of a cheaper source or perhaps a Boston Gear equivalent?

check the numbers..... I have a sunroof motor from a 1988 300e.... you can have it for 25 dollars plus shipping.

1989 300ce 129k ( facelifted front,updated tail lights, lowered suspension,bilstein sports, lorinser front spoiler, MOMO steering wheel, remus exhaust,stainless steel brake lines). (Gone) 1997 s320 154k (what a ride). Sold with 179k miles. Replaced with Hyundai Equus 1994 e320 Cabriolet 108k  1972 280se 4.5 153k Owned for 12 yrs, sorry I sold it [/SIGPIC]
