Instrument Cluster
Lately, all of my guages have been inoperable except for about one in every seven times I start and drive my car. The gas guage needle will vibrate though, leading me to believe that the guages are stuck. From what I understand, this can be caused by gunk ( that is a technical term) has built up on the pegs that the needles rest on. I cannot see the pegs, but I am going to try to clean them. The thing that I am struggling with is how to disassemble the cluster to take care of this. Anybody have any ideas?
The car is a 97 C280 Sport. By the way, the issue with my tranny and ABS, CEL light was the ABS speed control sensor. Thanks for all of your help on that one, I appreciate it. |

Look For A Ground Problem First....look For The Ground That Controls All Or Most Of Your Problem Guages....before You Take Your Dash Apart...good Luck...
