how to reset BAS/ASR warning light in clk230 '99?

the BAS/ASR (Brake Assist System/Acceleration Skid Control) warning light in my dashboard still lights up after i replaced the disk rotors and brake pads in my car. the dealer told me that it can be rest by their computer but i have to pay. i assume it's similar to the bmw where i simply short (connect) two pins from the computer-diagnostic socket with a paperclip and it resets the light (or service indicator).

does anyone know how to do this in my without me going to the dealer?

also, i was told that i need to replace the brakelight pedal switch as it is also connected to this warning indicator lamp. note that i don't think there's anyhthing wrong with my brakelight (they work) and definitely nothing wrong with my brakes as i already replaced what needs to be done; unless you know something that i should still fix. thanks for helping.
