210 sunroof 98 e320
Okay, one last plea for help. I removed the sunroof on my 98 e320. Cables were pretty far out their tracks. Greased cables profusedly, (with correct grease), replaced cable cover plates with the two-hole style plates. Right side cable tracks as it should, left side cable still wants to escape out of its track unless I manually hold it in place (even out of the two hole cover plate). The roof opens and closes a little, and it will pop-up but that's all I've got. Does the headliner have to come out if I want to try and replace the cable? I think there is either an obstruction in the track on the left side or the cable itself is weak on the left side. Thanks for any help.
