Overfilled crankcase symptoms!?
HI everyone,
I recently did my first (by myself) oil change on my 380SEL. I used a topsider extractor. Well the oil change didnt go to well....eitheir I didnt get all the oil out or really overfilled it. It was above the full mark on the dipstick by about an inch. I drove with it for a day thinking it will need to go into the filter or burn off....well then the car started to have a shaky idle at and felt like it was starving for fuel. I then proceeded to suck out more oil and brought it to just below the full line as I thought the spark plugs got fouled...the car ran like silk then for the whole weekend where I did a 300km trip. The car then sat for one day and now on my way to work it once again had the shaky/hesitant idle. What could it be?
