Battery light on after removing key,W124
On my friends W124 diesel wagon the battery light is on when you turn the engine off regardless if the key is in the ignition or not,when you start the car,goes off,battery goes dead all the time,will drain a new battery overnight...any ideas?

Diode bleed thru from alternator!
Needs alternator replacement OR repair!
