SLK electric fan not working

SLK electric fan not working

Good day anybody who had an experience with this problem?? Im doing aN SLK 230 Kompressor, its overheating i checked the electric radiator fan & its not working. i jumped the terminals and it works fine,. i traced the line & found a relay/resistor box/or regulator?? is this the one that controls the operation of the fan?? (its located on top of the LH wheel well) or is it being controlled by a module? am quite lost any thoughts?
