C280 Radiator Replacement
Is it a huge deal to replace the radiator in my 1994 C-280? Anything sneaky I need to be aware of?

I don't think so.. Personally > I have not replaced a radiator in my 97 C230 > but from the looks of it > seems to be pretty striaght-forward job.. I like the amount of room in the engine bay to access components..

I figure you live in the US with a auto transmission & AC, so you'll need good hose clamps to cut of the transmission lines and remove the front upper cross member to get the AC condenser out.
I haven't done this job myself so I could be wrong, but then again this might be what you have to expect to do. |
