c230K MFD fading out

I've been noticing the same problem on my 2003 C230k. I was planning on posing a new thread on this, but I noticed that nobody replied to your original question. Is your MFD heat induced fade getting worse? I am concerned that my display will fail or become unreadable. I am curious to know if your fading has gotten worse.
