Omigawd! I am addicted to Tech Help in the Shop Forum. I got lost in the middle of a conference call this afternoon because I was reading threads instead of paying attention. No one noticed. I think. And here I am, logged on once more, still clicking instead of getting much-needed sleep. If I don't make it to Atlanta in June I think I'll be forced to slit my wrists or condemn myself to driving a 1985 Nissan Sentra. Would I pass a service bay sobriety test? Even my pediatrician noticed that there are mouse tracks up the veins in my arms.....

Is there a cure? A Pro-Power Techroline treatment?

Sorry...

I thought to improve my writing english by visiting some forums before I will go to the states next march/april....
I am glad, however, that I am not the only who got an addiction problem out of THIS forum.

I hope I get to be stationed near Atlanta in june....this therapy group could help me out!

greetingz,

MBenz,

Don't worry, you're doing much better with your English than I've been doing with my German.

Most all of my business associates in Holland who have good English, tell me that they improved it by watching CNN.

Have a great day,

You Thought I Bought A Porsche?

Shows to go you that those of us who hang out on this forum have petroleum-based products lubricating our already under-utilized brains. If you thought I'd purchased another marque, you are obviously driven (pun intended) by model designations more readily than the less-than-average citizen. That's a compliment.

I actually thought about buying a Porsche for awhile a long time ago, but I couldn't find the motor.

They have engines you just have to know where to look for it. It's actually the radiator that they lack.

Have a great day,

You think you're addicted - I'm MB crazy. When I saw "911" I thought whats this post about the MB Truck the 911 avaliable in 3rd world countries doing here. Then I thought oh, maybe he's seen a fire engine one, or a commuter bus one, or a Coke-Cola/Pepsi delivery truck one or ..........the list goes on and on and on.

Sign me up for the therapy!

Damn, it's bad. I have Internet access at my desk and I run this site in the background for hours at a time. When I am holding or the call is not intense, I will be reading posts. I am often distracted and have to consciously make the decision to work, not read posts. When I travel I go through mild withdrawal.

My 107 has a variety of challenging problems remaining and I am slowly working them out. There is an endless stream of information to learn from and I am addicted to learning, particularly about my fanatical obsession, Mercedes Benz.

My significant other seriously thinks it’s a big problem.

I made the mistake of telling my wife that I was considering going to Georgia in the late spring with a group of Benznuts I'd never met in person. I got a force-10 "I-thought-I-married-an-intelligent-person" look from her in response.

Of course, she's the most brilliant person I've ever met, so maybe she has a point.
