I just purchased a chk valve for slk 230 98' I can't find it in engine area. can someone help me find it thank you.

what type check valve? do you have a part number?

yes it is a 111 010 00 91

why did you buy this item? any way it is for the crank case ventilation and is probably under the intake manifold area. see picture

i was told to buy it since my air mass wasnt working and it had oil in it. is this hard to get at? should i even bother?

i have never replaced it before, so i really cannot say as to the difficulty involved in replacing it.

what would be my first step to getting to that area?

try removing the plastic cover over the intake manifold

I took off plastic cap, I don't see anything that resembles the part. ug!
