My '81 240D only came with a drivers side rear view mirror. So I went out and looked and found a power passenger side mirror as well as a power mirror switch and connector on E-bay. I'm by no means knowledgable in wiring things together, but figured how hard could this be.
![]() Here is what I have done so far. I used an old 12V power supply and played random wire splicing until it seems to work. ![]() The connector for the switch has the following configuration: pin# --- color of wire 1 ------ 2 brown 2 ------ green 3 ------ empty 4 ------ red 5 ------ black 6 ------ white Here's what seemd to work as far as wire splicing: Mirror ------ Switch Grey ------ Green White ------ Red & Brown Black ------ White Switch To Power Source Black (+) and Brown (-) Has anyone else done this? ![]()
