noise encapsulation panel (undershield) and water
When I open the rear noise encapsulation panel, the black plastic that covers the transmission area, I find that water comes out from one hole for bolt (one on the passenger side).
Also, water is trapped in the vinyl covered foam: I squeeze the foam, and I see water coming out of the foam. The upper side (the side that contacts with the car's underbody) looks OK, but there seems to be some tear on the side.
Are such things normal?
My car is 1992 300D.
