SL 129 no power to roof switch+roll bar switch
Hi I have a 1990 SL 500 and there is no power to the roof switch and the rollover bar switch I have checked the fuses under the hood and in the boot and they seem OK. Please can anyone help !

Is your rollbar switch lit, blinking, or your top switch doing anything? Is everything entirely dead? Could be a relay? If fuses are ok. I don't have a diagram of that car, but just some thoughts.

Both RB and ST modules have diagnostic code storage on 129.066. [ 500sl ]
You can get both at pins 7 and 10 respectively, on the 16 pin diagnostic box A simple led/sw tool has to be made for retrieval [ Archieves] I have those codes , if needed

Check codes and reset them and most of the time it will work again.
