Replaced the evaporator....
Dear Mercedes Fans,
I recently replaced the expansion valve on my 1995 S420 and it was an advanture. Anyways, the a/c system still has a leak and I suspect that it is coming from the side of the expansion valve directly connected to the evaporator. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting to the valve with out taking the dash apart? I suspect the expension valve since I can smell refrigerant inside the car when the a/c is on. It takes about 3 weeks before I lose pressure and the system no longer blows cold air. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SS 1965 220 sb 1970 280s 1982 300sd |
